The second edition of Conecta DIGITAL kicked off in Madrid, the technological extension of Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT, offering industry professionals access to the emerging tools that are reshaping content creation, production, and distribution.
The two-day event (November 18-19, 2025) brings together experts in AI, VFX, virtual production, gaming, immersive storytelling, and the new entertainment economies. The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Culture and funded by the European Union’s Next Generation EU program.
The opening day began with institutional greetings, followed by a panel on the challenges of copyright in the age of AI. Specialists from technology and legal firms examined the regulatory differences between Europe and the United States. A keynote on immersive storytelling also highlighted new forms of interaction between creators and audiences.
Throughout the day, attendees took part in several sessions focused on the practical application of digital technologies. These included a showcase on using gaming to promote audiovisual projects, another on interactive creativity and XR experiences, and presentations on shoot optimization, virtual production, and new workflow tools that combine filmmaking with video game development.
The programme also features the Pitch Startups competition, where Spanish companies present technological solutions applicable to the entertainment industry, along with networking spaces for creators, investors, and companies across the sector.
