Following a strong showing at MIP Junior and MIPCOM, and continuing its long-established reputation for producing kids’ content with worldwide reach, Italy’s Gruppo Alcuni arrives at MIP Cancun 2025 with a remarkable lineup of titles.

For the Italian powerhouse, MIP Cancun serves as an ideal stage to unveil some of its most beloved animated properties, including "Leo da Vinci" 1 & 2, "Mini Pet Pals", "Vlady & Mirò", "Symo & Rose", along with fresh arrivals like "MiniDinos" and "The Fairy Tales."

There is plenty of anticipation as the market will feature an exclusive preview of "Pet Pals – Return", co-produced with RAI Kids, marking the 25th anniversary of Gruppo Alcuni’s globally successful franchise and its feature films. "Pet Pals – Return" is officially set to air in spring 2026.

Another highly anticipated release aimed at the tween audience is "The Black Diamond Race". This striking 9 x 45’ CGI adventure, originating from a Gruppo Alcuni concept and co-produced with RAI Kids, RTVE, Broadvision and Motion Pictures, is attracting strong interest.

Set in Europe and India in 1929, "The Black Diamond Race" centers on Rani, the young daughter of Maharaja Jay Singh, whose ambition is to break social conventions and become a renowned race car driver. Racing against time and confronting notorious criminals, Rani and her European teammates guide viewers through a thrilling journey filled with legendary cars, unexpected dangers and stunning scenery.

Completed just in time for MIP Cancun, the series has already been acquired by prominent European broadcasters and is poised to captivate pre-teen audiences with its artful mix of compelling narrative, strong character determination and fast-paced action.
