Dubai Content Market Highlights MENA’s Growing Influence in TV and Streaming
The Dubai International Content Market (DICM) 2025 took place on November 4–5 at Madinat Jumeirah, Dubai. The event brought together more than 90 exhibitors and over 250 buyers from more than 50 countries. It hosted over 500 pre-scheduled meetings via its Content Business Hub, emphasizing its role as a significant content marketplace in the MENA region.

DICM 2025 featured a comprehensive program including keynotes, panels, showcases, and pitching sessions. Key topics included emerging trends in audience demand, streaming behavior, Ramadan programming, micro-dramas, sports media rights, and the rise of Arabic cinema. The event highlighted the presence of major regional broadcasters such as MBC, OSN, Shahid, STARZPLAY, TOD, Abu Dhabi Media, Dubai Media, Oman TV, and Qatar Media Corporation, ensuring strong regional buyer participation.

Several international pavilions featured prominently, including those from Türkiye (ICC Pavilion), the Republic of Korea (KOCCA and JCIA Pavilions), and Russia (Roskino Pavilion), showcasing diverse and high-quality content portfolios. New initiatives like the Spotlight Stories: The DICM Pitching Challenge allowed regional storytellers to pitch their ideas directly to producers and investors.

The event reinforced Dubai’s position as a global media and creative hub, fostering collaboration and co-production opportunities in the fast-growing content market of the Middle East and North Africa.
