STUDIO TF1 AMERICA has achieved its first-ever series pre-sale with "The Sunshine Murders", acquired by UPtv in the United States. Produced for Channel 5 in the UK by Cork Films, Green Olive Films, and Three Point Capital (TPC), and distributed by STUDIO TF1 AMERICA, the warm and captivating crime series — available either as 10×45-minute episodes or five 90-minute movie events — made its official debut at MIPCOM 2025, marking STUDIO TF1 AMERICA’s first step into serialized storytelling.

Set between Athens and New Zealand, "The Sunshine Murders" centers on two contrasting half-sisters who form an unexpected investigative partnership: Shirley, a straightforward Kiwi farmer, and Helen, her passionate Greek detective sister.

The cast features Marina Sirtis ("Star Trek: The Next Generation"), Stephanie Beacham ("Dynasty"), Peter Andre, Camille Rutherford ("Paris Has Fallen"), Nick Moran ("Lock"), and Alexander Vlahos ("Versailles").

"The Sunshine Murders" aired on Channel 5 from September 4–12 as five movie-length episodes, while UPtv has chosen the 10-part version for the U.S. audience.
