The series (8x55') is about a former Michelin-starred chef who must teach cooking at his old school after a drunken mishap, leading him to confront his alcohol problem and his passion for food. Ricardo, a celebrated chef at the peak of his career, loses everything, his restaurant, reputation, and self-esteem, due to his addiction to alcohol. With nowhere else to go, he moves back home with his mother, Marga, who is not thrilled to have him back. A free-spirited widow enjoying her independence, Marga must now readapt to her grown son invading her peaceful life.
Ricardo’s only job offer comes from Entre Fogones, the culinary school where he began as a student. There, teaching cooking to at-risk teens, he rediscovers his passion for food and learns that life, like cooking, is best when it’s simple and genuine.
