Films has announced that its production “Queen of Fucking Everything” has been
celebrated at the prestigious Venice TV Award 2025. The drama, known for its
dark humor, unexpected twists, and distinctive voice, earned the Winner
title in the DIRECTOR category, acknowledging its exceptional quality and
creative excellence. The series also received a Nomination in the SERIES
category, proudly representing Yle.
Produced
for Yle by Rabbit Films, “Queen of Fucking Everything” is written and directed
by Tiina Lymi, one of Finland’s most recognized filmmakers. The series debuted
on Yle Areena’s VOD service on January 1, 2025, followed by a linear premiere
on Yle TV1 on January 5, 2025. It quickly turned into a national phenomenon,
shattering all previous viewing records in its first 30 days, reaching over 10
million unique starts across all episodes in a country of 5.5 million. This
achievement makes it the most-watched series ever on Yle Areena.
The ongoing
success of the show highlights Rabbit Films’ dedication to delivering daring,
high-quality productions that connect with viewers both in Finland and abroad.
The series
also presents an outstanding opportunity for international broadcasters and
streamers seeking innovative, award-winning content with broad audience appeal.
Originally commissioned by Yle (Finland), “Queen of Fucking Everything” has
already been acquired by SVT (Sweden), AMC Networks International (Spain),
Rialto (New Zealand), ERR (Estonia), All Media Baltics (Baltic region), ZDF
(Germany), NPO (Netherlands), VRT (Belgium), NRK (Norway), and RUV (Iceland).
The title will be showcased by Rabbit’s International division at MIPCOM Cannes
this October for further global distribution.
