Keshet International (KI) has lifted the lid on its autumn slate for MIPCOM 2025, spanning prestige drama, sharp new spins on proven entertainment formats, and a reinforced factual offering driven by recent acquisitions and pre-sales.
“We’ve got something for everyone,” said Kelly
Wright, KI’s MD of Distribution. “This MIPCOM, we’ll be launching four
Keshet scripted series—including our riveting drama Red Alert—two
spin-offs of internationally successful game show formats for Keshet 12, and a
factual slate buoyed by new acquisitions and pre-sale titles identified through
our Greenlight: Factual & Formats initiative.”
Scripted highlights
- Red Alert (Keshet 12, 4×60’): A
landmark drama drawing on real testimonies from survivors of the October 7
attacks, charting ordinary people thrust into heroism amid chaos. Produced
by Lawrence Bender and Bender Brown Productions with Green Productions,
Keshet Media Group, and the Israel Entertainment Fund. Paramount+
has acquired the series for a global October 7 premiere—exclusive
in the US and non-exclusive elsewhere.
- Nutuk (Keshet 12, 8×60’): A
high-stakes suspense thriller in which a 7-year-old’s past-life memories
reopen a missing-person case and expose a dangerous conspiracy. Created by
Roy Iddan and Nahd Basheir, directed by Adam Sanderson,
and produced by Yoav Gross Productions. Premieres October on Keshet 12.
- Messiah Superstar (JOYN, 8×30’): A
mockumentary comedy from Keshet Germany, adapted from KI’s Messiah
format. Florian Lukas stars as Thomas “Messiah” Janowski, a one-hit
Eurodance relic plotting absurd comebacks from his mother’s Berlin
restaurant.
- La Belle et le Boulanger (TF1,
4×60’): A French remake of Assi Azar’s hit The Baker and the Beauty,
produced by Marathon Studio with Terence Films. The romcom
pairs supermodel Louise with Parisian baker Benjamin (played
by singer-songwriter Amir Hadad) in a feel-good, family-driven love
story.
Formats front and
center
- BOOM! Heist Mode: An amped-up twist
on KI’s global hit BOOM! (licensed in 22 territories,
including nine Guinness World Record-breaking seasons in Spain for
Antena 3). Two teams race to crack cash-stuffed safes where brains,
nerve—and timing—determine the blast radius.
- The Search Kids: A colorful
15-minute kids’ spin on the physical word-search format from Youngest
Media and KI, adding a music round with “slurped” lyrics and a viewer
play-along pane. Recent deals include Belgium (Free Kings for Ketnet,
30×15’) and Spain, where The MediaPro Studio has delivered three
seasons / 150+ eps for Aragón TV in just 12 months.
Factual: new acquisitions and
Greenlight pre-sales
- Ellie Simmonds: Should I Have Children? (1×60’, ITV1): KI acquires a new documentary fronted by the
Paralympic champion as she confronts the deeply personal question of
parenthood and inheritance of disability. Available as a package with BBC
One’s Ellie Simmonds: A World Without Dwarfism and ITV’s
BAFTA-winning Finding My Secret Family.
- Hitler’s Favourite Royals
(Caledonia TV, 3×60’): From KI’s Greenlight: Factual & Formats initiative,
this series probes the interwar ties between elements of the British royal
family and Nazism, based on Dean Palmer’s Tea with Hitler
and new evidence. Co-developed
with KI; broadcast partners sought.
- Secret Royal Homes (Yeti
Productions, 3×60’) and Subterranean Secrets (Hello Mary, 10×60’):
Both selected via Greenlight and now available for pre-sale.
- Trucking Hell S9 (20×60’) and Casualty 24/7 S7 (6×60’): Latest seasons of Crackit Productions’ UK ratings workhorses join KI’s catalogue, following highway rescue teams across Britain and the real-life drama inside Barnsley Hospital’s A&E.
