Fremantle Italy Group has unveiled a new management structure effective October 1, appointing Valerio Fiorespino and Alessandro Saba as Co-Chief Executive Officers.

The CEOs of the Italian companies within the group – Fremantle Italia, Lux Vide, The Apartment, Wildside, Picomedia, and Stand By Me – will report to both leaders, with group functions divided by expertise. Fiorespino and Saba will in turn report directly to Andrea Scrosati, Group COO and CEO Continental Europe.

Fiorespino brings extensive leadership experience, having served at Rai, Istat, Sparkle, and as General Manager of Lux Vide. Since April 2024, he has been COO of Fremantle Italy Group and has acted as interim CEO since December.

Saba, meanwhile, joins from The Walt Disney Company, where he led Original Productions and contributed to the launch of Disney+ in Italy. His career spans Mediaset, FOX Networks Group, and numerous acclaimed productions including Zelig, Amici, Le Iene, I Leoni di Sicilia, Le Fate Ignoranti, and The Good Mothers, which won the Berlinale Series Award.

Commenting on the appointments, Scrosati said:“Valerio and Alessandro are two executives of extraordinary experience, competence, and vision, and the Fremantle companies in Italy could not have found better leadership. I want to thank Valerio for the excellent work he has already done on an interim basis, and I am truly delighted to welcome Alessandro to our group.”
