Promoted by EGEDA and Fundación Secuoya, in collaboration with FIPCA and supported by the Community and City of Madrid, the event is sponsored by Madrid Film Office and Film Madrid, with the participation of ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, among others.
This year’s pitch sessions will connect creators, directors, producers, and showrunners from across Ibero-America with leading international companies such as 3Pas Studios, Ánima, Amazon MGM Studios, BH5 Studios, Dopamine, Gaumont, and Warner Bros. Discovery. The initiative aims to foster international collaboration, financing, and distribution for fiction, animation, documentary films, series, miniseries, superseries, and non-fiction formats.
The industry’s response has been significant: more than 630 projects from over 20 countries were submitted, out of which 77 projects representing 17 countries were selected. Key producing territories include Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, the U.S., Mexico, Puerto Rico, Portugal, and the U.K., with co-productions from France, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Italy, and Ecuador.
The chosen projects will be presented in private pitch sessions to top executives, reaffirming Iberseries & Platino Industria’s role as a hub for the Ibero-American and global audiovisual industry.
