Rabbit Films announced that Ultimate Escape (8 x 90 mins), the adventure reality series, has been launched on Network Seven’s 7Plus platform in Australia.Based on the hit Finnish original format created by Rabbit Films, and adapted for Australian audiences by Helium Pictures, Ultimate Escape sees teams of everyday Australian heroes race against time in a high-stakes search-and-rescue operations across some of the most challenging and breathtaking terrain.
The series features ten teams of two pushing their limits, as one member relies on strength and endurance to complete missions, while their partner is locked in a hold, having to use their intelligence and strategy to navigate complex challenges. Each episode happens in a 24-hour period, and all teams that do not reach the rendezvous point before the clock runs out, get eliminated. The teams that reach the hold in the last episode are competing for a substantial cash prize.Samantha Ferguson, VP International at Rabbit Films, who brokered the deal, expressed her enthusiasm: "I'm absolutely thrilled about the launch!
