Sky Italia Announces The Creation Of The New Sport, News And Entertainment Division Led By Giuseppe De Bellis
Sky Italia announces the launch of a new division that unites all content offerings – pay-TV and free-to-air – under one strategic leadership. Giuseppe De Bellis has been appointed Executive Vice President of Sport, News and Entertainment.

From the end of July, Sky Sport, Sky TG24, original entertainment productions, films, series, documentaries, and free channels will be integrated into this new structure. The aim is to enhance Sky’s content through an integrated, cross-functional approach that fosters creativity, innovation, and collaboration across platforms, talents, and editorial areas.

This reorganization reflects Sky’s strategy to offer audiences a richer, more engaging experience by leveraging the strength of its editorial and creative teams, its storytelling passion, and its ability to innovate formats and languages.

De Bellis, who joined Sky in 2018, previously served as Deputy Co-Director of Sky Sport and later Director of Sky TG24. Under his leadership, Sky TG24 focused on international topics, a data-driven approach to news, and digital innovation, including the development of docuseries, podcasts, and Sky TG24 Insider, the site’s premium in-depth section for subscribers.
