Mercury Studios has officially announced that Back To The Beginning: Ozzy’s Final Bow—the epic, history-making live event—will be released as a feature-length concert film in early 2026. After the global success of the sold-out show and livestream, fans worldwide will now have the chance to relive the unforgettable night on the big screen. The 100-minute cinematic experience will capture the raw energy, iconic music, and emotional resonance of Ozzy Osbourne’s final performance in his hometown of Birmingham. More than a concert, the film is described as a "love letter" to Ozzy and the pioneering sound of Black Sabbath, the band that forged the heavy metal genre over five decades ago.
Filmed during the all-day celebration at Villa Park, the theatrical cut distills the essence of a monumental event that united rock and metal royalty. Fans can expect thunderous performances of War Pigs, Iron Man, Children of the Grave, and the anthemic Paranoid, along with exclusive behind-the-scenes access, artist interviews, and personal reflections from the Prince of Darkness himself.
Hosted by Hollywood star and metal enthusiast Jason Momoa, Back To The Beginning gathered a staggering lineup of musical legends: Black Sabbath, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Ronnie Wood, Steven Tyler, Slayer, Pantera, Tool, Yungblud, and Papa V/Ghost. The show also featured a one-of-a-kind drum battle between Tool's Danny Carey, Blink-182's Travis Barker, and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith.
More details about the global theatrical rollout will be announced soon.
