Casta Diva strengthens its TV division with industry veterans Paolo Mastromarino and Dimitri Cocciuti
Casta Diva, part of Casta Diva Group and a leading company in the television production landscape, announces the arrival of two prominent figures in the TV and entertainment industry: Paolo Mastromarino and Dimitri Cocciuti. Their extensive expertise will further strengthen the company’s creative and development team focused on television. These new appointments mark another important step in Casta Diva’s growth and innovation strategy, aimed at consolidating its leadership position in the sector.

Paolo Mastromarino, with over ten years of experience in the TV industry, has contributed to numerous successful productions such as X Factor, Dinner Club, and 4 Ristoranti, overseeing casting and editorial aspects of various projects. His deep expertise in formats and international TV markets has been further refined through collaborations with the online publication Formatbiz and several production companies. He has also played a key role in developing branded content and documentaries, supporting creative and production teams throughout the ideation and execution phases. At Casta Diva, Mastromarino will focus on scouting and acquiring formats for adaptation and development, managing relationships with producers and distributors worldwide.

Born in 1984, Dimitri Cocciuti began his career in television at a very young age and has gained nearly two decades of broad and in-depth experience in the field. A versatile and visionary writer, he combines pop language, narrative sensitivity, and contemporary vision, having created impactful content for Rai, Discovery, Sky, Mediaset, and Paramount+. He has worked alongside notable figures such as Raffaella Carrà and Fiorello. For over a decade, he was a creative leader at Ballandi, overseeing the development and acquisition of new international formats and creating hits like A raccontare comincia tu and Drag Race Italia (where he also served as showrunner). His expertise spans the adaptation of international formats and the creation of original titles, paired with a profound understanding of the television market. Cocciuti is also the author of three novels, including Non lasciarti sfuggire, published by Mondadori.

“We are thrilled to welcome Paolo and Dimitri to our team,” said Massimo Righini, Chief Operating Officer of Casta Diva. “Their skills and creative vision are invaluable assets for our company. Paolo’s expertise in format scouting and acquisition, combined with Dimitri’s innovative approach to content creation and development, will allow us to further expand our offering and achieve new milestones in both domestic and international markets.”

The addition of Paolo and Dimitri underscores Casta Diva’s commitment to attracting the industry’s top talent to deliver increasingly innovative and high-quality productions that respond to new market trends and audience demands.
