Iberseries & Platino Industria, the leading event for Spanish and Portuguese-speaking audiovisual professionals, has announced a special call for new projects in collaboration with Methos Media, a company dedicated to producing and promoting family-friendly entertainment with international appeal.
The Methos Media 2025 call aims to select up to 20 Ibero-American projects spanning fiction, documentary, and animation, whether in series or feature-length formats. To qualify, projects must be in an advanced development stage and have at least 30% of financing confirmed. The selected content should target broad audiences and demonstrate clear potential for global distribution.

Selected creators will have the opportunity to engage in exclusive one-on-one meetings with Methos Media representatives during the fifth edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria, set to take place from September 30 to October 3, 2025, at Matadero Madrid.
Participants must hold valid accreditation for Iberseries & Platino Industria and ensure their in-person attendance at the event. Project submissions must be in Spanish and originate from production companies based in Ibero-America. Series must have episodes of at least 20 minutes, while feature films must run for a minimum of 60 minutes.

The evaluation will consider the producer's track record, the quality and originality of the content, financial viability, alignment with Methos Media’s editorial line, and innovation in format, financing, and distribution strategies. Supporting materials such as teasers, partner commitments, or letters of interest will also be assessed.
Applications must be submitted via the event's professional platform by Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM (GMT+2), after completing the event accreditation. Promoted by EGEDA and Fundación Secuoya in collaboration with FIPCA, the event is supported by the Community and City of Madrid, along with sponsors such as Madrid Film Office, Film Madrid, and ICEX Spain Export and Investment.
