The fifth edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria, the leading professional event for the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking audiovisual industry, has just revealed a first look at its highly anticipated programming. The event, which will take place from September 30 to October 3, 2025, at Matadero Madrid, promises an exceptional lineup of conferences, keynotes, and spotlight sessions featuring some of the most influential players on the international stage.

Among the highlights, SkyShowtime will present a keynote led by Kai Finke, Chief Content Officer, who will share his vision on the challenges and opportunities shaping the European audiovisual market. Finke expressed his enthusiasm about joining the event for the first time, noting that he looks forward to discussing SkyShowtime’s evolving pan-European content strategy, which remains deeply committed to local stories while embracing international hits.

This year’s agenda will also feature spotlight sessions with major global companies such as HBO Max Spain, Banijay, Beta Film, and The Mediapro Studio. Industry leaders confirmed to participate include Bibiana González of Warner Bros. Discovery, Pilar Blasco and Steve Matthews from Banijay, Moritz von Kruedener and Christian Gockel from Beta Film, Mercedes Gamero and Pablo Nogueroles from Beta Fiction Spain, and Amparo Castellano and Catalina Porto from The Mediapro Studio.

The event will once again bring together an impressive roster of creatives, producers, financiers, executives, and key decision-makers, including Alonso Aguilar from Amazon Studios, Leonardo Zimbrón from 3Pas Studios, Raymundo Díaz-González, a consultant for Sony Pictures International Productions, and Daniel Burman, CEO of Oficina Burman – The Mediapro Studio. Among the international guests are Elisa Alvares from Tower Peak Partners LLP, who will take part in a session dedicated to venture capital funds and new investment perspectives in content, and Jeppe Gjervig Gram from the European Showrunner Programme, who will lead a session exploring new creative approaches for showrunners.

Hugh Welchman of Breakthru Films will join a special panel focusing on co-production in European fiction, while Pilar Sanchez Macías from YouTube and Paula Palomino from Twitch will discuss the growing impact of the creator economy and the attention-driven content landscape. Gloria Saló from GECA will return to the event to offer a deep dive into the latest trends and shifts shaping the audiovisual ecosystem.
