CJ ENM Scores Double Win at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2025
South Korea’s entertainment giant CJ ENM continues to ride its wave of international success, earning two major accolades at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards 2025, held at the iconic Changi Airport in Singapore. The awards celebrate innovation and excellence across the region’s broadcasting industry, and this year CJ ENM emerged as a standout winner.

The company took home honors in two key categories: “Main Channel on Cable and Satellite Platforms” for the hit drama Lovely Runner, and “Series Production” for the emotionally gripping Marry My Husband—two series that have resonated powerfully with audiences both at home and around the world.

Now in its third edition, the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting+ Awards has rapidly established itself as a significant benchmark for creative and technical excellence in media. This year’s ceremony was a showcase of bold storytelling, cutting-edge production, and the growing global influence of Asian content.

Lovely Runner, produced by CJ ENM Studios, captivated viewers with its unique blend of fantasy, romance, and emotional depth. The drama tells the story of Im Sol, a young woman devastated by the tragic death of her favorite celebrity, Sun-jae. In a twist of fate, she wakes up 15 years in the past and is determined to change his destiny. The show struck a chord internationally, reaching the No.1 spot on Rakuten Viki in 133 countries during its sixth week, and holding the top position for six consecutive weeks in 109 countries. It also earned a nomination for Best Cinematography at the 2024 Asian Academy Creative Awards, highlighting its artistic and technical achievements.

Meanwhile, Marry My Husband, produced by Studio Dragon, delivered a gripping narrative of betrayal, revenge, and self-empowerment. The story follows Kang Ji-won, a woman who, after being murdered by her cheating husband and best friend, is given the chance to relive her life and reclaim her future. The series quickly gained traction worldwide via Prime Video, topping charts in 33 regions and landing in the Top 10 in 112, according to FlixPatrol. Back home in South Korea, it became a ratings hit, peaking at 12% nationwide viewership for its final episode.
