Following a successful broadcast season where it ranked No. 1 in the Adults 18–49 demo, FOX has officially announced its 2025–2026 primetime schedule, adding six new series across scripted and unscripted genres and marking the return of several fan favorites. The announcement makes FOX the second major U.S. network to reveal its upcoming lineup.
The new slate includes a mix of drama, comedy, reality competition, and high-concept event programming. Headlining the scripted newcomers are Memory of a Killer, a dramatic thriller; Best Medicine, a new one-hour comedy; and The Faithful, an epic scripted event series. On the unscripted front, FOX introduces three new competition formats, including Next Level Baker, a four-hour special event hosted by Gordon Ramsay; a revival of the classic game show The Weakest Link; and a new take on Fear Factor.
Also joining the lineup is the newly announced 99 To Beat, a fresh competition series that continues FOX’s momentum in high-energy unscripted entertainment.
In a notable shift, Seth MacFarlane’s American Dad! is set to return to FOX in 2026 after more than a decade on TBS, expanding the network’s already robust animated portfolio.
FOX Entertainment CEO Rob Wade emphasized the network’s focus on variety and cross-platform appeal: “Building on our winning position in both key demos and co-viewing this season, FOX delivers a 2025-26 schedule that’s filled with irreverence, fun, and much-needed laughter. Next year more than ever, we’re bringing that promise to life with a terrific slate to delight our audiences across linear, Hulu, and beyond.”
Among the returning scripted titles are Doc (Season 2), Murder in a Small Town (Season 2), Animal Control (Season 4), and Going Dutch (Season 2). FOX’s popular animation block remains strong with the return of The Simpsons (Season 37), Family Guy (Season 24), Bob’s Burgers (Season 16), Grimsburg (Season 3), Krapopolis (Season 3), and Universal Basic Guys (Season 2).
The unscripted roster continues to thrive with The Masked Singer (Season 14), which will return in midseason 2026—a first for the celebrity guessing game, breaking its tradition of airing two cycles per year. Also back are Beat Shazam, Don’t Forget the Lyrics!, LEGO Masters, Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, Name That Tune, Next Level Chef, Extracted, The Floor, and Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.
