Sognando Ballando con le Stelle is a talent competition featuring a group of professional dancers who compete for a coveted position as a dance teacher in the main edition of Dancing with the Stars. Throughout the episodes, contestants perform various styles of ballroom, Latin, and Caribbean dances. The same panel of regal show DWTS evaluates the performances of the competing couples, assessing both their technical precision and artistic expression. The show also serves as a celebratory event marking the 20th anniversary of Dancing with the Stars, with the return of some of the best contestants from previous seasons to the dance floor.
