Gerri is a 2025 Italian crime drama series airing on Rai 1, inspired by the novels of Giorgia Lepore. The story follows Gregorio "Gerri" Esposito, a 35-year-old police inspector of Romani origin working in Trani, Puglia. Haunted by a troubled past and raised in a foster home, Gerri is deeply empathetic, especially towards cases involving minors and vulnerable individuals. His investigative approach blends meticulous analysis with impulsive intuition, often leading him into complex and risky situations. The series begins with the murder of 18-year-old Rossella Albani, daughter of a powerful local lawyer. As Gerri delves into the case, he uncovers connections to a previous unsolved crime involving a Romani woman, suggesting a deeper web of secrets and power dynamics within the community. Directed by Giuseppe Bonito and produced by Cattleya in collaboration with Rai Fiction, "Gerri" consists of four episodes, each approximately 120 minutes long. The series stars Giulio Beranek as Gerri and Valentina Romani as Vice Inspector Lea Coen.
A fresh take on the talent show genre, Audiscion (Rai 2) spotlights emerging comedians performing original monologues, sketches, and character pieces in front of a live audience. Each episode features special guest stars from the world of comedy and entertainment. The show’s energetic format and the dynamic chemistry of hosts Gigi & Ross with Elisabetta Gregoraci promise a humorous and fast-paced viewing experience, giving new talent a platform to break into the mainstream.
