The Brain Renewed for a Second Season After the Debut on W9

Since its launch on December 9th on French commercial broadcaster W9, The Brain has quickly become a hit, solidifying its status as the most successful new daily reality show on the channel in the past eight years. Created by Studio 89, the reality competition puts together the most iconic reality stars into a unique contest around all pillars of human intelligence and try to win the title of “Reality’s Biggest Brain”. M6 will be attending MIPLONDON and several international options are already in negotiations.

Over the course of 35 daily episodes, the first season captivated audiences, achieving an impressive average of 0.5 million viewers, with a 6% audience share among the 25-49 demographic and an even stronger 9% among 25-34-year-olds. This success marks the second major reality format triumph of the year for Studio 89, following the hit strategy game The Power, co-created with Dreamspark.
