Banijay Entertainment has announced the return of Crossing Land, Sea, and Air, the longest-running entertainment program on Dutch television, set to premiere on RTL starting 31 August. The 4x55’ series is being produced by EndemolShine Nederland, a subsidiary of Banijay Benelux.
After a successful 50th-anniversary special last year, EndemolShine Nederland is bringing back this iconic competition show. Contestants from across the Netherlands will compete in thrilling races, each building their own vehicles tailored for unique challenges. The vehicles will be judged on speed, agility, and creativity, with a special award for the most innovative design. The format, originally created by TROS and René Stokvis in 1973, remains a beloved classic.
