The hit Turkish drama series I Am Mother has received the green light for a second season from broadcaster Show TV.

Produced by O3 Medya, the series made its debut in November 2023 and quickly became a sensation in Turkey. It consistently dominates the ratings, especially in the coveted AB demographic, securing the top spot every Tuesday in a fiercely competitive prime-time slot.

Starring Özge Özpirinçci (Woman, Into the Deep) in the lead role, I Am Mother follows the journey of Karsu, a woman trapped in an unhappy and abusive marriage. Her challenges escalate as her family fractures, and one of her children is abducted while en route to their grandmother's care. Amid strained relationships with her own mother, Karsu must fight to reunite her family and reclaim her kidnapped son.
