Atresmedia at The Berlinale with the premiere of Veneno and Dressed in Blue

Following its success in Spain, Vestidas de azul (Dressed in Blue) premiered at the end of January in Portugal, Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, and Finland, among other countries, thanks to the agreement between Atresmedia and HBO Max and it's also available in Canada after its simultaneous launch with Spain on Crave platform (Bell Media) and will soon be available on RTS Switzerland.


Veneno's sequel follows the successful path of its predecessor an this week, Vestidas de azul will also be in Berlin with the screening of its first episode on February 20th at 12:00pm at CinemaxX2.

Atresmedia TV International Sales, in addition to being the global distributor of the series, will be present at the Berlinale Series Market.

The series is an atresplayer original drama produced by Atresmedia Televisión in collaboration with Suma Content. Montse García, Valeria Vegas and Andrea H. Catalá are the executive producers of the series; Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi are the producers of the fiction.
The cast counts with Valeria Vegas, Javier Holgado, Susana López Rubio, Javier Ferreiro, Mikel Rueda, and Claudia Costafreda in the script team.

For this new series, part of the artistic team of Veneno returns. Lola Rodríguez will once again play the role of Valeria. In addition, Paca La Piraña, Goya Toledo (Lola), Juani Ruiz, Alex Saint (Sacha), Ángeles Ortega (Manola) and Desirée Vogue (Bienvenida) reprise their characters.

Vestidas de azul (Dressed in Blue) maintains the same narrative structure as Veneno, between the present and the past, intertwining the lives of its protagonists. It addresses the reality of trans people in the 80's, a very hostile time for the collective, through the six protagonists of the documentary Vestida de azul. They will be played by Rossa Ceballos (adult Loren), Bimba Farelo (young Loren), Chloe Santiago (Tamara), Geena Román (Eva) and Alma Gormedino (Josette), Penélope Guerrero (Nacha) and Keyla Òdena (Renee). The series also features Marisa Paredes, Susana Abaitua, Elena Irureta, Luis Callejo, Estrella Extravaganza, Mercedes Sampietro, Anabel Alonso, Pedro Casablanc, Llum Barrera, Guiomar Puerta, Claudia Traisac, Nerea Rodríguez, Clara Sans and Juriji Der Klee.
