Keshet International, a leading producer and distributor, is teaming up with impact studio Ritual Arts and Amazing Owl, Orlando Bloom's production company, to present the compelling factual docuseries, Earthbound, to a global audience.

Earthbound, a 6x60’ premium documentary series narrated by actor and environmentalist Orlando Bloom, delves into the lives and impactful contributions of seemingly ordinary individuals who have transformed environmental challenges into opportunities. Each episode profiles a remarkable and daring visionary, such as 32-year-old engineer Nzambi Matee, the founder of Gjenge Makers, who converts plastic waste into sustainable paving bricks. This optimistic and solution-oriented series aims to both entertain and inspire viewers worldwide.

Ritual Arts developed this six-part docuseries based on its award-winning 2023 documentary film Earthbound: Nzambi Matee. The film has already achieved widespread success on the international festival circuit, securing over 30 awards at festivals like the Tribeca Film Festival, International Wildlife Film Festival, and Mallorca International Film Festival. With audience participation, the film has raised funds supporting Matee’s company and contributing to the people of Nairobi through The Earthbound Foundation—an extension of the project dedicated to empowering featured communities with educational scholarships, business grants, and building grants.

Produced by Ritual Arts in association with Amazing Owl, Earthbound (6x60’) will be written, directed, and executive produced by Farhoud Meybodi (My Last Days, Man Enough), executive produced and narrated by Orlando Bloom (To the Edge, Carnival Row), and executive produced by Massa Nagano and Adam Karasick (The Cut, To the Edge). The pilot episode will be exclusively showcased to buyers at the 2024 London TV Screenings on Wednesday, 28 February.
