The cast of the thriller, which filming began last September 30, includes French actress Fanny Ardant, already winner of the Cesar Award and the Silver Bear, the Polish Joanna Kulig, best actress at the EFA and star of the Oscar-winning film "Ida" and the Italian actor Marco Rossetti, among the protagonists of the series "Doc - In your hands".
The film is a thriller that tells the story of Joanna, a magnificent 40-year-old woman married too young to a rich and possessive man, who through meeting Ada (Fanny Ardant) will begin a process of emancipation that will push her to do things that he never would have thought.
Filmed predominantly in English with a top-notch technical crew, the film is produced by Manish Mundra for Drishyam International and co-produced by Ariens Damsi for Eliofilm, executive produced by Sreemoyee Bhattacharya for Drishyam International and Luigi Mascolo for Eliofilm. The release is scheduled for 2024 with international distribution.
