Winners revealed for the 5th annual NATPE Unscripted Breakthrough Awards

The winners of the 5th Annual Unscripted Breakthrough Awards were revealed today during the NATPE MIAMI Marketplace and Conference, which continues until January 24th. Hosted by country-music super-star Kellie Pickler and Emmy Award-winning journalist Ben Aaron, the winners were revealed during a special luncheon ceremony at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.
The NATPE Unscripted Breakthrough Awards are designed to honor programs and celebrate people that broke through the clutter in the preceding year, as well as becoming part of the cultural conversation and generally altering the expectations of what constitutes a reality program. The 2019 awards were given out in the following categories: Innovation, Competition, Documentary, Docusoap, Factual, and Game Shows.
