For its 8th edition, on October 11-15, 2022, MIA is back in Rome.
MIA is one of the most important international audiovisual markets covering the audiovisual industry (Animation, Doc&Factual, Drama and Film).
With over 2000 professionals from 58 countries participating last year, MIA is a market for the top players of the national and international film and TV industry.
The MIA format blends and balances networking, co-production, selling and scouting activities with masterclass events. At MIA, premium industry players can buy and sell content based on specific business strategies that have been developed on four main market assets: matchmaking, co-production e-pitching forum, panel and talks, screenings.
MIA is a project created and produced by ANICA (National Association of Cinematographic, Audiovisual and Digital Industries) and APA (Association of Audiovisual Producers). MIA is supported by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, ITA – Italian Trade & Investment Agency, MiC (Ministry of Culture), the Ministry of Economic Development, Lazio Region, MEDIA Programme of the European Union.
