Esterno Notte the last Marco Bellocchio's series was screened at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, but the series will arrive in prime time in Autumn on the pubaster screen of Rai 1.
Bellocchio has already directed a movie about the assassination of Aldo Moro by the Red Brigades in 1979 with Buongiorno notte, interpreted by Maya Sansa, Luigi Lo Cascio and Roberto Herlintzka, but this time, he created an all series with The Apartment (Fremantle Group) and Rai Fiction, Arte France and Kavac Film.
The television series Esterno Notte starring Fabrizio Gifuni in the role of Aldo Moro, Margherita Buy as his wife Elonora and Toni Servillo as Pope Paul VI, will be distributed internationally by Fremantle.
