Dori Media appoints Emmy®-winning Executive Producer, Joshua Mintz as Chief Content Officer
Dori Media Group (“DMG”, “the Company”) announces that it has appointed Joshua Mintz as Chief Content Officer to further expand DMG’s portfolio of international productions following a significant increase in demand for international content around the globe, particularly in Latin countries.

Mintz will join Dori Media International on June 1st and will report to Givon Snir, Head of Content. Mintz has had a very successful career in the television industry for more than 30 years, with leadership and production positions in four of the most important Hispanic TV networks in the US and Mexico.

In 2014, Mintz received three International Emmy® Award nominations and won the first-ever Emmy® award given for best Non-English Language US Primetime Program for the record breaking El Señor de los Cielos. From 2016 until 2018 he served as President of Production (fiction) of TV Azteca. Under his leadership, TV Azteca produced and aired the first season of Rosario Tijeras, the series that became a game changer for Mexico's primetime content.

Mintz also previously held roles at Telemundo, Televisa and Univision. He brings significant leadership and production experience in international markets and will help Dori Media further grow international productions to be distributed globally.

Nadav Palti, CEO & President of Dori Media Group, commented: “The appointment of Joshua reflects our growing ambition to expand our international portfolio, and the level of success Dori Media’s international formats continue to achieve. Consumer demand for TV and video consumption is fundamentally changing and we are keen to ensure we stay close to our network partners to provide them with the content their viewers desire. Joshua and I know each other very well having worked together in the industry for a very long time and we have built a very strong relationship together – I have no doubt that his experience and success in the industry will help us accomplish our goals.”
Joshua Mintz, International Chief Content Officer of Dori Media International, commented: “I am looking forward to getting started and to join the team following the success Dori Media formats have had over the years. I am certainly delighted to be working with Nadav and Dori Media after all these years and it’s great to see how forward-looking Dori Media is in terms of its approach. This is particularly true when you consider how the pandemic has accelerated the need for innovative approaches to providing content, just when networks need it the most.”
Joshua Mintz began his career at Televisa, he was appointed general Director of Broadcasting Stations in 1990 and was later appointed general Director of Logistics of Televisa San Angel. He was also Executive Producer for many shows.

In 2000, Mintz joined Univision as Director of Drama Production.

Between 2011 and 2015, Mintz served as EVP of Scripted Programming & General Manager of Telemundo Studios, where he was responsible for all fiction and drama productions in the U.S., Mexico and Colombia, as well as many co-productions for Telemundo Media, a division of NBC Universal. During his tenure, the network delivered record-breaking performances for five consecutive years, becoming the fastest growing Spanish-Language Broadcast Network in the United States and surpassing its main competitor by 2015 and even positioning itself as the number one Hispanic network in the country.

In 2014, as Executive Producer he received three International Emmy® Award nominations and won the first-ever Emmy® award given for best Non-English Language US Primetime Program for the record breaking "El Señor de los Cielos".

From 2016 until 2018 he served as President of Production (fiction) of TV Azteca. Under his leadership, TV Azteca produced and aired the first season of "Rosario Tijeras", the series that became a game changer for Mexico's primetime content.
