The Voice of Mongolia has taken home not one, but two Asian Television Awards this weekend in Malaysia. The show picked up the award for ‘Best Entertainment Show’ and also beat its competition in the category ‘Best Adaptation of an Existing Format’. This is a fantastic recognition in Asia for the hit format, that already received numerous awards elsewhere across the globe, including 4 Emmy's, 4 Producers Guild Awards and 5 People’s Choice Awards.
Launched in 1996, Asian Television Awards is the Asian TV industry’s most significant and celebrated event, recognizing excellence in programming, production and performance. Asian Television Awards is the only event of its kind in Asia, making it the definitive platform to showcase and recognize quality television productions within Asia.
The Voice of Mongolia premiered in 2018 on Mongol TV and a second season is expected to air in 2020.
