Endemol Shine Group has landed a deal for its hit culinary format Family Food Fight in Portugal.

Shine Iberia, part of Endemol Shine Iberia, is producing a 13×90-minute run for RTP. It will be known locally as Famílias Frente a Frente.

Portugal marks the fifth territory for the show, with the cooking competition having sold to ABC in the U.S., where Endemol Shine North America will produce a version for broadcast later this year. In Argentina, Endemol Shine Latino’s series has just finished airing on Telefe.

Hélder Marques, executive producer for Family Food Fight Portugal, said, “Family Food Fight is a diverse, multigenerational and celebratory format, everything that Portuguese cooking sets out to be. We are excited to be the first European territory airing the series and we believe it will resonate strongly with our viewers.”
