Spanish broadcaster Mediaset has commissioned a local adaptation of Guess My Age, a format in which contestants have to guess strangers' ages to win a cash prize.
Guess My Age was created by France's Vivendi Entertainment, which also distributes the show globally. It originally aired on C8 in France, where it was produced by Flab Productions. MEdiaset's free-to-air digital channel Cuatro will launch the show in a daily afternoon slot. Locally titled Concurso del An, it is being co-produced by Mediaset and Bulldog TV and will be hosted by Dani Martinez. The adaptation marks the 13th country the format has entered. It has also proved a success in Slovakia and Hungary including Italy where it is due to return later this year on Sky's TV8 for a second season.
