MFE-MediaForEurope Unveils New Strategy and Organizational Structure
MFE-MediaForEurope (MFE) has introduced a new corporate strategy and organizational structure designed to accelerate the Group's transformation and strengthen its competitiveness in an increasingly challenging European media landscape. The new operating model, defined by Chairman and Group CEO Pier Silvio Berlusconi together with his senior leadership team, implements the strategic and business priorities presented on July 8 and became effective today after being introduced to the Group's management.
As part of the reorganization, MFE is also rolling out a new television and product development structure for Mediaset in Italy, reinforcing its editorial organization and streamlining decision-making across the business.

The changes coincide with the merger process that will see Mediaset incorporated into R.T.I., following approval by the respective Boards of Directors. Once completed, the new company will operate as Mediaset Italia, with Pier Silvio Berlusconi serving as Chairman and CEO and Niccolò Querci appointed Vice Chairman.

The new organizational structure confirms Mauro Crippa as General Manager of News and Communications while strengthening the editorial division through three dedicated television content units. Giancarlo Scheri has been appointed Deputy General Manager of Networks, Scheduling and Promotion, with Sebastiano Lombardi succeeding him as Director of Canale 5. Giorgio Restelli becomes Deputy General Manager of Entertainment and Artistic Resources, while Giampaolo Letta takes on the role of Deputy General Manager of Fiction and Cinema. The restructuring also includes the appointment of Riccardo Siro Galli as Head of the newly created Italian Operational Marketing division, working alongside the international marketing organization led by Federico di Chio. Andrea Chinese has been named Head of the new Promotion Department, reporting directly to Scheri.

According to the company, the objective is to further evolve Mediaset's television offering through clearer responsibilities, faster execution and a more efficient organizational model. The broader reorganization is intended to make the multinational Group more agile and accelerate the realization of synergies across its European operations. The new structure is based on three core principles: greater organizational clarity, well-defined responsibilities and a shorter chain of command to enable faster decision-making.

Pier Silvio Berlusconi said: "We have already achieved significant results, particularly in Germany. A great team of Italian and German colleagues has delivered more than expected, step by step. But the European advertising market is challenging. The future is increasingly complex, and competition from new platforms is extremely strong. Although we have grown, our scale remains relatively small. That is why we need to take another step forward. To do so, we need a new strategy and a new organization capable of turning that strategy into results with greater speed and effectiveness. This is the purpose of the new structure: a shorter chain of command, clearer responsibilities and, above all, a stronger focus on developing our internal resources and talent."
