Merzigo has expanded its existing partnership with Banijay Rights adding more than 9,000 hours of premium content to its digital portfolio. The extension builds on the success of the original agreement announced in March 2026 and increases Merzigo’s managed catalogue to more than 17,000 hours. The portfolio already includes popular digital channels such as MasterChef Universe, Mr Bean TV, and Survivor Official TV.
The multi-year agreement strengthens one of the fastest-growing collaborations in digital content distribution across platforms including YouTube and Facebook. Through the partnership, Merzigo will apply its proprietary technology and platform expertise to maximize the reach and monetization potential of Banijay Rights’ extensive catalogue, with the expanded portfolio including established factual and lifestyle titles.
Valerio Motti, MD EMEA at Merzigo, said: “Merzigo has an unparalleled ability to transform premium content into new forms that resonate with today's audiences. Our deep understanding of audience behaviours and culture, blended with platform behavioural expertise, unlocks commercial opportunities at scale. Expanding our deal with Banijay Rights reflects the success we've already achieved together. They are at the forefront of the new digital era, and together we are pushing the frontier of what modern distribution should be. We're excited to build on that momentum with an even broader portfolio.”
Shaun Keeble, VP Digital at Banijay Rights, added: “We've seen first-hand what Merzigo are capable of when great IP is put through their ecosystem. This extension is a reflection of the performance they've delivered and the collaboration we've built together. Two digitally driven businesses, with a shared ambition to win in the new entertainment era.”
The expanded agreement reinforces both companies’ commitment to developing new opportunities for premium content in the evolving digital entertainment landscape.
