Globo to Adapt Upside Down From Endemol Shine Brasil
Endemol Shine Brasil, part of Banijay Americas, has announced the first international deal for entertainment format Upside Down, with Globo commissioning a local version of the feel-good competition series for Brazilian audiences. Originally created by EndemolShine Nederland, part of Banijay Benelux, and produced in Brazil by Endemol Shine Brasil, Upside Down challenges two teams of celebrity families to compete inside a studio that has been literally turned upside down.

Brazil becomes the second country to produce the format following its debut in the Netherlands. The Brazilian version will be filmed at Banijay Studios, the largest independent audiovisual production complex in Latin America, using a specially designed set and immersive technology.
The format combines physical challenges, quiz games and visual experiences in fully inverted environments, blending humour, quick thinking, agility and teamwork. Through unexpected challenges and surprising situations, Upside Down transforms the traditional studio entertainment show into an immersive and adrenaline-filled experience for both contestants and viewers.

Nani Freitas, CEO of Endemol Shine Brasil says: "We are always looking for original ideas to bring audiences together through shared entertainment. Upside Down is a bold, highly visual format, and filming at our own studios guaranteed we created a distinctive production from the outset. We are proud to partner with Globo to bring this Banijay Entertainment format, created by our colleagues at Endemol Shine Nederland, to Brazilian viewers."
