Sphere Media has hired Kelly Jenkins as Senior Vice President, Business Affairs, English Scripted, reinforcing its leadership team as the company continues to expand its scripted production business in Canada and international markets. Based in Toronto, Jenkins will oversee business affairs for the English Scripted division, working across creative, production and corporate teams to support the development and execution of the company's scripted slate.
He brings extensive experience in business affairs, production, financing and rights management across the television industry. “I’m really excited to work with everyone at Sphere to make great scripted content together,” said Kelly Jenkins.

Sphere Media continues to expand its English-language scripted portfolio, with upcoming productions including Cold Country for CBC/CBC Gem, co-produced with Katawak Productions and Inferno Pictures, and This Summer Will Be Different, the adaptation of Carley Fortune's bestselling novel for Netflix Canada.
The company has also recently secured CBC commissions for Blessed Sacrament, created by Kathleen Robertson and produced with Debut Content, along with a new espionage comedy from creator Aubrey Nealon. Previous scripted productions include Wayward, Small Achievable Goals, Sort Of, Transplant and The Porter.
