Federation International has closed a new wave of international sales for Those who lived, a premium drama series for France Télévisions directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Jean-Xavier de Lestrade. The series originally aired on France 2 for the 10th anniversary of the 2015 Paris attacks. The 8 x 1-hour drama received strong critical response and delivered solid performance across France Télévisions and its streaming platform france.tv, reaching a total of 13 million views.
Federation International has recently finalized sales with Movistar Plus+ (Spain), NOS Lusomundo (Portugal), HOT (Israel) and Silver Box (CIS). These deals add to earlier agreements with HBO Max (France), Nova (Greece), SVT (Sweden) and RTS (Switzerland), with further territories currently under discussion.
Commissioned by France Télévisions and pre-sold to RTBF (Belgium), the series follows seven survivors of the Bataclan attacks who form a lasting bond as they rebuild their lives after trauma, tracing their emotional recovery over several years.
Produced by What's Up Films (Matthieu Belghiti), Mizar Films (Nicolas Mauvernay) and NAC Films (Jérôme Corcos), the series is written by Jean-Xavier de Lestrade and Antoine Lacomblez and features an ensemble cast including Benjamin Lavernhe de la Comédie-Française, Alix Poisson, Antoine Reinartz, Félix Moati, Anne Steffens, Thomas Goldberg, Cédric Eeckhout and Megan Northam.
Federation International continues its successful collaboration with What's Up Films and Jean-Xavier de Lestrade, following the international success of Sambre.
