The Madrid Audiovisual Cluster held its General Assembly at the SGAE headquarters in Madrid’s historic Longoria Palace, with representatives from more than 50 member organizations in attendance.
During the meeting, the Assembly approved the renewal of the Board of Directors, confirming Raúl Berdonés, representing Secuoya Content Group, as President of the Cluster for a new term.

The renewed Board ensures continuity while welcoming two new members: PATE, represented by Fabia Buenaventura, and ECAM – The Madrid Film and Audiovisual School, represented by Alba Wystraëte.
With 136 members, including Madrid City Council and the Regional Government of Madrid as institutional partners, the Cluster continues to consolidate its role as a key platform for Spain’s audiovisual industry. Its main goals include promoting competitiveness and innovation, supporting the internationalization of Madrid-based companies, and developing initiatives focused on training, sustainability, technology, and industry networking.

The Assembly also approved the 2025 annual accounts and activity report, the organization’s code of conduct, and a protocol for the prevention of harassment.
Members also reviewed key initiatives from 2025, including the Madrid Audiovisual Investment Forum, participation in international markets and festivals such as the Berlinale and San Sebastián, networking activities at Iberseries & Platino Industria, the launch of the Audiovisual Observatory, and the Cluster’s contribution to the Regional Government of Madrid’s Strategic Audiovisual Plan.

Looking ahead, the 2026 roadmap includes the second edition of A Planet of Cinema, a new ECAM FINDE, workshops on grants and public funding, and the presentation of the Madrid Audiovisual Industry Report.
