Turkish drama Halef, distributed internationally by Inter Medya, continues its international rollout and is now set to debut in Italy. Produced by Most Production and led by producer Gül Oğuz, the series stars İlhan Şen, Aybüke Pusat and Biran Damla Yılmaz.
Set in the region of Şanlıurfa, Halef combines family drama and emotional conflict while also highlighting the area’s cultural identity and visual landscape.
The agreement with Italy further strengthens Inter Medya’s distribution slate and confirms the continued international appeal of Turkish scripted content.
Since its launch, Halef has been sold across several territories, including the MENA region, Central and Eastern Europe, and Latin America. The Italian deal marks another step in the series’ international expansion.
The drama has attracted attention for its cinematography, its portrayal of local culture and the emotional dynamics between its characters. At the same time, the series has built an active online following, contributing to the international visibility of both Şanlıurfa and Turkish drama production.
Following strong ratings during its first season in Turkey, <<<<<has been renewed for a second season by local broadcaster NOW.
