Radar Names John Cameron To Lead Digital Studios Expansion
Radar, the digital division of WTFN, has appointed John Cameron as its first Head of Digital Studios as the Australian company continues to grow its online distribution business. Based in the UK, Cameron will oversee the daily management of Radar’s network of more than 25 digital channels, focusing on content delivery and monetisation strategies.

He will report to Louisa Emery, General Manager of Radar. “I am delighted to welcome John to Radar – and the wider WTFN group. He has worked for some of the biggest players and highest-profile content brands in our industry and brings valuable specialist knowledge and expertise to the team. Having a senior member of the team based in Europe will also prove a real asset,” said Emery.
Derek Dyson, Chief Commercial Officer at WTFN, added: “Our distribution business continues to evolve, and John’s appointment will play a timely and pivotal role as we double-down on recent growth and set new strategies for the future.”

Cameron brings more than two decades of experience across digital, broadcast, branded campaigns and sports content, having held senior production roles at companies including Fremantle, Banijay, The Football Association and Atomized Studios. Cameron said: “Radar has quietly grown into one of the biggest and most impressive digital businesses operating today, managing many high-profile owned and partner channels, including Bondi Vet and Real Emergency. I am excited to now work with the team – as well as its creator, broadcaster and other IP owner partners – to explore additional opportunities to grow their brands and maximise their potential.”
