Calinos Entertainment and Pixcom have entered into a strategic partnership with France’s TF1 Group, marking a significant step in the expansion of premium international content across Europe.Under the agreement, TF1 Group will introduce two Canadian scripted series, Indefensible and Alert Squad, to French audiences. Both titles are produced by the award-winning production company Pixcom—one of Canada’s leading independent producers of high-end scripted content—and distributed by Calinos Entertainment. Indefensible is currently the most-watched scripted series in Canada, while Alert Squad consistently ranks among the country’s top-performing series.

Indefensible, a long-running legal drama, follows the criminal defence team at the Lapointe-Macdonald law firm as they navigate complex cases and ethical dilemmas. The series attracts approximately 1.5 million daily viewers, making it the leading show in French-speaking Canada.
Alert Squad focuses on a Special Missing Persons Unit handling high-stakes disappearance cases, while its protagonists grapple with both personal and professional challenges. The series draws close to 1 million viewers weekly and continues to build a strong and loyal audience base.
Both productions have also achieved critical acclaim, earning multiple accolades at the prestigious Gémeaux Awards, including Best Annual Drama Series, Best Daily Series, and Best Lead Actor in an Annual Drama Series. Pixcom is currently in production on Season 5 of Indefensible and Season 6 of Alert Squad.
