Mediawan is heading to the Cannes Film Festival 2026 with a notable footprint, as five films produced by its labels have been selected across the festival’s official sections.
The Paris-based independent studio confirmed that its titles will feature in Competition, Un Certain Regard and Midnight Screenings, underlining the strength and diversity of its production slate.
In Competition, the lineup includes Fatherland, produced by MUBI, Our Films, Extreme Emotions, Nine Hours and Chapter 2, and directed by Paweł Pawlikowski, alongside Garance, produced by Trésor Films and Chi-Fou-Mi Productions, directed by Jeanne Herry.
In the Un Certain Regard section, Quelques mots d’amour, produced by Chi-Fou-Mi Productions and directed by Rudi Rosenberg, will screen alongside Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma, produced by MUBI and Plan B Entertainment, directed by Jane Schoenbrun.
Rounding out the selection, Full Phil, produced by Chi-Fou-Mi Productions and directed by Quentin Dupieux, has been selected for the Midnight Screenings section.
The selections reinforce Mediawan’s continued positioning as a key player in the international film landscape, with a growing presence at major festivals and a portfolio spanning auteur-driven and commercially distinctive projects.
