After playing a central role in shaping FOX Entertainment Global’s unscripted strategy over the past three years, Nathalie Wogue has exited the company to embark on an independent path, marking a significant move within the international formats landscape.
As Senior VP of Global Formats, Wogue was instrumental in driving the editorial direction behind FOX’s $100 million International Unscripted Format Fund (IUFF), a strategic initiative launched to identify and develop the next wave of globally scalable unscripted IP. Under her leadership, the fund delivered its first tangible results, with four series launched and a growing network of partnerships with key players such as TF1 and Studio Ramsay Global.
Wogue’s approach has consistently reflected a strong focus on originality and risk-taking—two elements increasingly critical in a saturated and highly competitive market. Her work at FOX contributed to reinforcing the company’s positioning as a proactive player not only in format acquisition but also in IP creation and international distribution.
At the core of her strategy was the ability to identify concepts with a clear global potential: formats capable of combining a distinctive creative hook with broad audience appeal. This vision translated into a dual-track model, balancing the adaptation of established hits such as The Masked Singer and The Floor with the development of exportable originals like Next Level Chef, which has demonstrated strong international traction.
More broadly, Wogue has been part of a new generation of executives pushing for a shift in the unscripted business—from traditional commissioning toward a more entrepreneurial, IP-driven model. Her emphasis on universally accessible entertainment, designed for co-viewing across markets and demographics, aligns with the current demand for formats that can travel easily and perform across platforms.
