Atresmedia Closes Deal For Entre Tierras With Mediaset Italia
Atresmedia has confirmed a sale agreement for "Entre Tierras" with Mediaset Italia. The fiction, starring Megan Montaner, has become a true audience phenomenon since its premiere, being the most-watched television series in 2024. This milestone marked the beginning of a successful international journey, as "Entre Tierras" established itself as a global phenomenon, ranking for many weeks among the most-watched series in every country it reached.

This emotional drama set in rural Spain in the 1960s, consisting of 10 episodes of 50 minutes each and starring well-known actors such as Megan Montaner, Unax Ugalde, Juanjo Puigcorbé, Carlos Serrano, and Clara Garrido, among many others, will soon arrive in Italy through Mediaset.

The agreement also coincides with the premiere of the second season of the series on atresplayer Spain on March 15. After being presented at the Málaga Festival, a new episode of this second batch—starring Megan Montaner and featuring significant developments in both cast and storyline—is released every Sunday on atresplayer. It will also be broadcast in prime time on Antena 3 and soon worldwide.

As part of its international expansion, Atresmedia has been present at the renowned international festival Series Mania, held in Lille (France) from March 20 to 26, where it has achieved great success by closing this important deal with Mediaset Italia.

In addition to "Entre Tierras", Atresmedia Sales has presented at Series Mania 2026 some of its main fiction bets for the season, including "Las hijas de la criada", an adaptation of the literary phenomenon by Sonsoles Ónega, winner of the 2023 Planeta Prize, which is fully available on atresplayer and became the platform’s best premiere of the last three years.

The group has also presented "La Nena", a series directed by Paco Cabezas and a loose adaptation of the third novel of the Carmen Mola saga, set to premiere on atresplayer on April 12 following the huge success of "La Novia Gitana" and "La Red Púrpura". Additionally, "Padre no hay más que uno", la serie, a crazy family comedy already released on atresplayer, represents the television adaptation of Santiago Segura’s blockbuster film saga.
