One Battle After Another and Sinners Dominate 98th Academy Awards

Sky and NOW have announced the availability of the major winners from the 98th edition of the Oscars® for the Italian market. The night’s biggest winner, "One Battle After Another", secured six Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director for Paul Thomas Anderson. The film also took home statues for Best Supporting Actor for Sean Penn, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Editing, and Best Casting.

Following closely with four awards was the supernatural thriller "Sinners". The film, directed by Ryan Coogler, earned Michael B. Jordan the Oscar for Best Actor, along with wins for Best Original Screenplay, Best Original Score, and Best Cinematography.

In the acting categories, Jessie Buckley was honored as Best Actress for her leading role in "Hamnet", while Amy Madigan received the award for Best Supporting Actress for "Weapons". The title of Best International Feature Film went to the Norwegian production "Sentimental Value".

 Sky Cinema and NOW subscribers in Italy can already access "Sinners" on demand. "One Battle After Another" and "Weapons" are available via Sky Primafila, with "Hamnet" set to arrive on March 23 and "Sentimental Value" scheduled for May.
