Record ratings marked the return of Pechino Express, on Thursday, March 12, which kicked off its new season at full speed. The premiere episode of the adventure reality produced by Banijay Italia and broadcast yesterday on Sky Uno/+ and on demand, became the most-watched episode in the show’s history.
The launch delivered a Total Audience of 752,000 viewers with a 3.3% share, reaching 1,192,000 contacts and an impressive 60% average audience retention.
The show also achieved outstanding results on social media. With 158,000 Social TV Audience interactions in the Linear measurement and 251,000 interactions in the Same Day 24/7 measurement—representing increases of +108% and +107% respectively compared to last season’s premiere—Pechino Express was the most commented television show of the entire day across Italian TV.
