Beta Cinema announces that Moritz Hemminger has joined the company as Head of Sales & Acquisitions. Alongside his acquisitions responsibilities, Hemminger will oversee sales across Spain, Australia, and all Asian markets.

Tassilo Hallbauer, previously Head of Sales and Acquisitions, has been promoted to EVP Sales, Acquisitions and International Co-Productions. Based in London, he will lead the acquisitions and development of English-language feature films - a sector into which Beta Cinema has been strategically expanding in recent years.

Over the past four and a half years, Hemminger played a pivotal role in launching The Playmaker, where he served as Head of Sales & Acquisitions and helped shape the company’s identity. More recently, he has championed an array of horror, thriller, and sci-fi projects, establishing himself as a passionate advocate for bold, genre-driven storytelling.
