Autentic continues to strengthen its footprint in the global FAST market with the launch of its brand-new FAST channel Wheels & Steel on Samsung TV Plus in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands and Belgium, with further rollouts on additional platforms and confirmed launches in North America scheduled for the coming months.
The English-language channel showcases the world of heavy machinery, precision engineering and raw power from colossal construction equipment and mega machines to high-stakes salvage missions.
Alongside titles from Autentic’s strong factual distribution catalogue, the channel also features additional programming supplied by WELT through a dedicated content licensing deal. Highlights include the popular series “What Went Wrong”, “Exceptional Engineering”, “Containership XXL”, “Salvagemasters”, and “Giant Logistics.”
Julian Althaus, Director Channels & Digital Sales at Autentic, says: “Built for fans of everything big, loud, and fast, Wheels & Steel is a great addition to our channel slate. We look forward to bringing this high-energy entertainment to even more platforms and territories soon.”
Besides the new launch of Wheels & Steel, Samsung TV Plus has also expanded the availability of Autentic History and Autentic Travel to the UK and Ireland, following their strong performance in the Nordics and Benelux. Autentic now operates 8 FAST channels, including Terra Mater WILD and SPIEGEL TV Konflikte.
