Keshet Int’l Acquires Murder at the Dead Sea for London TV Screenings
Keshet International (KI) has secured worldwide distribution rights to "Murder at the Dead Sea", a gripping new 7x60’ crime thriller for Keshet 12 (Israel), produced by Yoav Gross Productions (Nutuk, Red Skies, Manayek).

Currently in post-production and scheduled to premiere on Keshet 12 on December 22, 2025, the series is created by Raz Yuvan (Kfula, Hezi and Sons), directed by Tomer Shani (Carthargo, Nehama), and stars Niv Sultan (Tehran, The Stylist) in the lead role.

Kelly Wright, Keshet International’s MD of Distribution, comments: “'Murder at the Dead Sea' is a high-end thriller that reinvents the locked-room mystery for today’s global audience. It features a stunning and exotic location, a twisty plot, and an outstanding performance from Niv Sultan. We’re thrilled to present this murder mystery series at the London TV Screenings as part of our 2026 lineup.”

Set against the haunting backdrop of Israel’s Dead Sea, "Murder at the Dead Sea" begins with the mysterious death of Sarah Hacohen, a pop icon whose body falls from the ninth floor of a quarantined hotel during the height of the pandemic. What initially appears to be a suicide rapidly unravels into a dark web of deceit, betrayal, and murder. Trapped in isolation, young police investigator Revi Shem-Tov (Sultan) must uncover the truth among a group of quarantined strangers—each harboring secrets more dangerous than the virus itself.

Karni Ziv, Keshet 12’s Head of Drama and Comedy, adds: “We believe Keshet 12 viewers will love this contemporary reimagining of the classic Agatha Christie whodunnit set in a COVID hotel by the Dead Sea. It blends the taut suspense of And Then There Were None with the cinematic storytelling of The White Lotus.”

Keshet International will officially launch the 7x60’ tape and format of "Murder at the Dead Sea" to buyers at the 2026 London TV Screenings.  Titles previously presented by the global content producer and distributor at the London TV Screenings include Kuma Studios’ Series Mania-winning "A Body that Works" (8x60’), sold in nearly 100 territories by KI; Backmann & Hoderoff’s global thriller "Conflict" (8x60’), which earned six Hot Pick selections, broke ratings records for MTV Finland, won Best Drama Series and Best Director (Fiction) at the 2024 Golden Venla Awards, and has been sold in more than 40 territories by Keshet International to date; and Spiro Films’ "Unconditional" (8x60’), expected to premiere on Keshet 12 in Israel.
