Conecta DIGITAL: AI, Immersive Narrative, Virtual Production, and Transmedia Strategies Shaping the Future of Audiovisual Entertainment
Conecta DIGITAL, the Conecta FICTION & ENTERTAINMENT section that bridges emerging technologies with the audiovisual entertainment industry, concluded its second edition having established itself as a key space for analyzing and anticipating the future of audiovisual content.

Over two days, professionals, institutions, and international experts explored how artificial intelligence, immersive storytelling, virtual production, and new transmedia strategies are redefining the creation, production, and distribution of content. The program highlighted that technological innovation is no longer an add-on but a central pillar transforming the way we tell stories and connect with audiences.

Panels, showcases, and presentations offered a multifaceted look at this transformation—from legal security in the age of AI and the impact of European VFX, to the growth of interactive storytelling and the use of video games as tools for communication and marketing.

Conecta DIGITAL 2025 concludes with a clear vision: collaboration between creative talent, the tech industry, and institutional stakeholders is essential to driving a more competitive, sustainable, and international audiovisual ecosystem. This edition not only provided valuable insights but also fostered new alliances and opportunities that will continue to grow beyond the event.

The second phase of Conecta DIGITAL in Madrid closed with participation figures 15% higher than last year’s capacity, with 350 registered attendees and strong engagement in the sessions, which were streamed live for the first time.

Voyelle Acker, Co-founder & Executive Producer at Small Creative, a virtual reality production studio based in Paris, France, summed up the spirit of this second edition of Conecta DIGITAL: “It is always very important to connect people and connect different fields of the audiovisual segment. Once again, it is probably essential to be able to combine the traditional, linear audiovisual model with what comes from new technologies, new formats, new ways of telling stories, and digital writing. So yes, it is very important to allow people from different fields to connect and debate together.”
